How to estimate computer repairs prices.

There are three main topics you have to keep in mind when estimating repair prices:

• Quantity of materials and resources 
• Time needed to complete the task 
• Cost for materials and resources to complete task 

Quantity of materials and resources.

If the task requires tools and materials which do do not have, take in consider the cost of buying or renting equipment. But if your buying tools you should consider that it will help you in future services, so therefore you can't charge the client full equipment price but like a quarter of the price.

  Time need to complete the task

The time needed to complete the job may differ between your fee per hour or how difficult the job was. Now the more sensible thing to do is have a hourly rate due to the fact that just saying a price out of your head you might say a price that isn't reasonable or a price that is too low. 

Cost for materials and resources to complete the task 

Now after figuring out the first steps you must lastly figure out the prices and by estimating a price that is close to the actual price it can be higher or lower but do not go over broad with it. After getting the prices you should be able to draw up a estimate bill for your client.

Computer activity rates are fixed prices that technicians set for a particular job. Now not all prices are fixed, most vary on the type of device and how difficult the task was.

Why is it important to have a fixed price list

It's important to have a fixed price list because it's easy to estimate the price of the job, due to the fact that there might be some materials needed to complete the task. So u would have to add the fixed price with an estimate price of the materials needed plus the service fee. So right off the top of your head u can give a subtotal of how much the client would have to pay to get the task completed.
